Shipping policy
At HemAura, every product is printed on demand and made fresh just for you. Here's everything you need to know about how we process, ship, and deliver your order across India.
Order processing time
Because each product is custom-made, please allow time for production before your order ships:
- Production time: 2–3 business days for most products
- Production time for hoodies, premium tees, and customised items: 3–5 business days
- Orders placed on weekends or public holidays are processed the next business day
- You'll receive a dispatch notification with tracking details once your order ships
Shipping timelines across India
Once dispatched, delivery times depend on your location:

These are estimates, not guarantees. Actual delivery times may vary based on courier service, location accessibility, and local conditions.
Shipping charges
We offer transparent, predictable shipping rates:

Cash on Delivery (COD)
COD is available across most pincodes in India with the following conditions:
- A flat ₹50 COD handling fee is added at checkout (clearly displayed before payment)
- COD is available for orders up to ₹3,000 — higher value orders require prepayment
- COD orders are confirmed via SMS or WhatsApp before processing
- Some remote pincodes may not be eligible for COD (you'll see this at checkout)
Order tracking
Once your order ships, you'll receive:
- An email with your tracking number and courier link
- An SMS or WhatsApp message with the same tracking link
- Real-time tracking updates as your order moves through the courier network
You can also check your order status anytime by logging into your HemAura account or contacting us with your order ID.
Shipping partners
We ship via trusted Indian logistics partners including Delhivery, Bluedart, Xpressbees, DTDC, India Post, and Shiprocket. Your order is automatically routed through the fastest available service for your pincode.
Address accuracy
Please double-check your shipping address before placing the order. We are not responsible for delays or non-delivery caused by:
- Incorrect or incomplete addresses
- Wrong pincode or phone number
- Recipient unavailable at the address
- Restricted areas where courier access is denied
If you spot an error, contact us within 2 hours of placing the order at support@hemaura.in. After 2 hours, address changes may not be possible if the order is in production or dispatched.
Failed delivery attempts
Our courier partners typically attempt delivery 2–3 times before returning the package to us. If delivery fails:
- You'll be contacted by the courier for re-delivery scheduling
- If multiple attempts fail, the package is returned to our warehouse
- For prepaid orders, we'll attempt to re-ship after confirming the address with you
- For COD orders, repeated failed deliveries may result in COD restrictions on future orders
Damaged or lost shipments
If your order arrives damaged, or appears tampered with:
- Take a photo of the damaged package before opening it
- Take photos of the damaged product after opening
- Contact us at support@hemaura.in within 48 hours of delivery
- We'll process a free replacement or full refund based on your preference
If your order shows as delivered but you haven't received it, please contact us within 7 days. We'll investigate with the courier and resolve the issue.
International shipping
Currently, HemAura ships only within India. We're working on launching international shipping for NRI customers in the US, UK, Canada, UAE, and Australia in the near future. Subscribe to our newsletter to be the first to know when international orders open.
Shipping during sales and festive periods
During major sales (Diwali, end of year, brand launches) and festive periods, please expect:
- Slightly extended production timelines (3–5 business days)
- Possible courier delays due to high volume
- Limited courier service during major holidays (Holi, Diwali, Christmas, New Year)
We'll always communicate any expected delays clearly via email and on our website.
Force majeure
HemAura is not liable for shipping delays caused by circumstances beyond our control, including but not limited to natural disasters, floods, pandemics, lockdowns, government restrictions, courier strikes, or remote area access issues. In such cases, we'll keep you updated and process refunds for prepaid orders that cannot be fulfilled.
